(The Municipal Park of Rodos, Rodini Park, The Valley of
Butterflies, Seven Springs, Fasouli Spring, Profitis Ilias, The
biotope at Apolakia dam). Walking in Rhodes in winter is an
enjoyable experience. Choose a clear, sunny day and take any of the
routes as suggested by the Greek National Tourist Organization.
Walkers will be amazed by the wealth of flora.

Castles
(Palace of the Grand Masters, Lindos, Monolithos, Kritinia,
Asklipios, Archangelos, Feraklos.) As a result of intense pirate
activity in the 7th to 9th century AD and the activities of the
Knights of St. John, the Island has a remarkable number of castles
and fortresses of which many survive.

& DRINK: The Rodian Cuisine! A manifest of local meats and fisc,
fresh vegetables, pure olive oil and imagination. Lesson on Rodian
Cuisine are on free offer on a weekly basis. In addition Rodos
offers a vast variety of alternatives o satisfy every taste.

WINERY:
Rodos has a 2400 year tradition in winery. You can taste the local
wine and even visit the CAIR and EMERY wineries to
experience and learn Rodian wine.

Cinemas, Variety of Theatre performances. Experience for yourself
why they say that Greeks are in love with night entertainment,
and visit night clubs with Greek and International Music.

– Rodos has a great variety of sports facilities to offer like

the European Boxing Championship (DEC) and the 5th International
Cycling Tour of Rodos (FEB)...etc.

& CULTURAL CENTER - Many exist on the Island. In particular
interest is attracted to the wide range of cultural activities that
are organized by the Associations of foreign nationals who live in
Rodos, under the general title EUROPA CLUB. In addition events are
organized for people of the 3rd AGE, with the collaboration of local
3rd age clubs and organizations.
